We started working on this project in early 2009. Client came to the office and asked us to design a contemporary house. Client had an idea how the house should look, said he favored a flat roof house, for which we obliged in our initial scheme.

What followed were months of design development up until the production of complete drawings necessary for the construction. It was a very favorable time frame for the practice. And it's a first with a client who didn't say "I want this built next week." We had time to develop concepts, experiment with ideas, study precedents, do architecture.
